We bought this bunk bed 2 12 monthss ago. My husband put it collectively and mentioned it was oncen’t terrible to figure out. The directions have been extra picture oriented, so don’t predict a choice of detail with regard on striking it collectively. It’s stable subject materials had been good. When the children are up together playing on the top bunk, I was once concerned to begin with, however it hangs up sturdy. Even when mommy goes up there to take a seat up there with them. Having the trundle on the underside works well with sleepovers. The handiest down facet is the bottom bunk isn’t very tall. Even my 4 yr old cannot sit up in mattress without hitting hellos head. If any of you were ever in the navy and did time on a ship, it’s going to remind you of your rack… Not that it can be entirely a nasty thing, it’s just a bit cramped. We do no longer need a great thick mattress within the bed either. Standard 8-9″ mattress. The trundle could not take an ordinary mattress and we put a foam mattress that was once simplest 6″ thick below there. The children nonetheless like it. The stairs are stable and protected. They have non-stick strips on them to lend a hand once extrast slipping. The little fingers hold tight on the rails, too. Very protected.

The finish results of striking this bed together is worth the effort, but be forewarned, striking this mattress together is time consuming. “Assembly required” is a major belowstatement. This bed is extra of a package than something that could be slapped collectively in an hour or much less. It took me close to an hour simply to unpack the entire boxes and make feel of ALL of the sections they contained. The instructions are rather good, however among the pieces were now not properly labeled, making the meeting take extra time. A rep from the corporate advised my spouse that it should take 2 individuals about 2 hours to position the bed together. Perhaps, 2 people who had carried out it before and had been engaged on separate parts might pull it off in that period of time. In my case, I did it alone and it took me greater than 6 hours complete to position together. Granted, I took my time, didn’t have a power software to screw in the hex bolts, and made some errors (e.g. the usage of the unsuitable dimension bolt a few times). Overall, I would buy this mattress once extra (and might even buy a 2d one). Just be prepared for the trouble it requires.
UPDATE: I did buy a 2nd bunk mattress and found the meeting more straightforward the 2d time. One tip to make things more uncomplicated is do not unpack all the fieldes. There’s one box that incorporates the entire phases for the trundle and some other that comprises all (or most) of the sections for drawers. There’s no cause of unpack these unless you ready to meeting those elements. Assembly nonetheless took me 4 hours or more, but its now not difficult and the finish outcome is worthwhile.
